The Watch Advice Shop is open between 10 a.m. and 12 noon every third Saturday of the Month in the Robert Dickinson Building, 10 Sibson Road (next to the car park and opposite the Garden Centre).

We offer a friendly welcome, tea and biscuits and a range of products that can help you to keep yourself safe from crime. Some items are free to Members and others are for sale at cost price.

Property Marking

We also offer property marking of bicycles, power tools, lawnmowers and similar items with invisible UV pens or an engraver.  Postcoding your property in this way discourages burglars and increases the chances of it being returned to you if it is stolen.

It can also provide vital evidence for the Police to be able to charge a suspected thief.

Police Beat Surgery

On most occasions a police officer is there holding a Beat Surgery. These are open to everyone and give you the chance to meet your local police officers.

You can seek their advice or tell them about any issues that  concern you, so allowing you to have your say about policing in the area where you live.

(Their attendance is always subject to them not being required elsewhere in an emergency.)
