Birstall Burglaries

November 1, 2017

On Friday 27th October between 5.30pm and 8.45pm, a house in Oakfield Avenue (close to the junction with Fielding Road) was broken into.  Entry was via a rear upstairs window and exit via a Kitchen window.  Cash and jewellery was stolen.  CCTV from a neighbouring property shows four males involved, all wearing dark clothing.  They were using a dark coloured car which is believed to have been used in other burglaries across the county.

On Tuesday 31st October between 2.30pm and 7.30pm, a house in Birstall Meadow Road was broken into.  Entry was by smashing a rear patio door but nothing appears to have been stolen.  There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.

Were you in these areas around these times, did you see or hear anything suspicious ?  Please report any information by dialling 101 the police non-emergency number.
