How Embarrassing!

October 18, 2017

You may have received an alert email from us about two items posted yesterday, 17th October, entitled “Greetings” and “Hello world. This is my website!”.

They make no sense, other than to tell us that our website has been hacked in some way.

These items were not posted by us and have been removed. So, please ignore them.

The subsequent email message was automatically generated by us in the normal way to alert you that there were new posts and should be no threat to your devices. However, it might be wise to delete it just to be on the safe side.

We have already taken steps to make access to the website secure again.

So there is the lesson: It can happen to any of us – even Neighbourhood Watch!
